FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) - The Army psychiatrist suspected in a deadly rampage at Fort Hood, Texas, has been charged in a military court with 13 counts of premeditated murder.
U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command spokesman Chris Grey told a news conference Thursday at the Texas base that additional charges may also be filed against Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan.
Hasan is suspected of killing 12 soldiers and one civilian in last Thursday's shooting spree at Fort Hood. He was shot and wounded by two police officers at the base, and remains in recovery at an Army hospital in San Antonio. His attorney says he was read the charges at the hospital.

WASHINGTON (AP)—Military officials say the Army psychiatrist accused of killing 13 and wounding 29 in last week's shooting rampage at his military post in Texas will face 13 charges of premeditated murder under the military's legal system. The decision makes him eligible for the death penalty if convicted.

New York – November 12, 2009 – AJC welcomed the decision of the Board of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) to unanimously reject a proposed academic boycott of Israel.
“This is a victory for academic freedom and a decisive blow to the hateful politics underlying the campaign to boycott Israel,” said AJC Executive Director David Harris. “The NTNU has wisely acted in its own self-interest. Had the boycott proposal been passed, the university would have gained international notoriety for adopting a policy of discrimination.”
The boycott proposal drew a firestorm of condemnation, particularly from the academic world. Among those condemning the boycott were the American Association of University Professors and the Russell Group, a body which gathers the top universities of the United Kingdom.
“Most important of all was the opposition of principled academics in the NTNU itself,” said Harris. “In particular, we pay tribute to Professor Bjorn Alsberg for mobilizing more than 100 of his colleagues in a petition to counter the boycott proposal. His example serves as a beacon of hope for those academics in other universities around the world facing similar calls to exclude their Israeli colleagues from academic life.”
"Swedish journalist Donald Bostrom, the author of an article claiming the IDF harvested organs from dead Palestinians, has reevaluated his position on the matter, Army Radio reported on Thursday morning.
According to the report, Bostrom recently canceled his participation in a Beirut conference, the goal of which was to slander Israel.
Sources close to the journalist related that Bostrom's recent visit to Israel and the fair dialogue he held at a Dimona conference caused him to think twice about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."
Swedish photographer Donald Boström made waves in August this year when he abandoned his career as a photographer and instead tried his hand at journalism.
It was a mistake. He does not write coherently, he fails in the elementary ABC of checking on sources, he is subjective and unable to be objective, and his pro-Palestinian agenda shines through the few two-syllable words he succeeds in spelling correctly with the help of his trusty dictionary.
He wrote an article accusing the IDF of a systematic policy of killing Palestinian Arabs to supply a purported Israeli organ-trafficking industry, weaving his allegations together with a number of unrelated, overtly racist anti-Semitic accusations against Jews worldwide.
In early November, Boström travelled to Israel to defend his allegations. So certain was he of the treatment he would receive in the only democratic state in the Middle East that he hired a bodyguard to protect him 24 hours a day during his visit.
He needn't have bothered. This was, after all, Israel, not an Arab dictatorship. As is customary in any democracy, there were demonstrations against his racist views, but he was allowed to defend his views on TV and he left the country without incident. His bodyguard had the easiest assignment of his entire professional life.
Boström's civilised reception in Israel surprised him. Brought up on a decades-old Swedish diet of vilification of the Jewish state and of Jews in general, Boström today announced that he is reassessing his account of alleged official Israeli involvement in organ trafficking.

SYDNEY (al-AP) - A bomb-sniffing dog that disappeared during a fierce battle in Afghanistan between Australian troops and militant fighters has been found and returned to its unit after more than a year.
And Sabi the black Labrador is getting a celebrity welcome home.
Sabi was with a joint Australian-Afghan army patrol ambushed in restive Uruzgan province in September 2008, triggering a gunfight that wounded nine troops and earned one Australian soldier the country's highest bravery medal.
But there was no sign of Sabi after the battle, and months of searching failed to find any sign of the retriever—until now.
Defense officials said Thursday that a U.S. soldier recovered Sabi at an isolated patrol base elsewhere in Uruzgan. Further details about the base were not given.
Before anyone rushes to the defence of Islam by stating that, all religions have the capacity to spawn violent individuals who will claim they're acting on behalf of their religion, just remember one thing. No Jew would ever shout Hashem is Great and then pass outsweets in celebration of the deeds committed by Israeli Jewish terrorist, Ya'acov Tietal.
Most importantly, there isn't any religious branch of Judaism that would ever condone what Tietal has openly admitted to have done. Such thinking does not exist in Judaism nor in Christianity, no matter how much the terrorist murderer claims to be acting from his or her religious principles. But we do hear all about how Islam "never condones the hurting of innocents", but never hear about how non-Muslims do not ever qualify as being innocent.
Like Sheik Yer'Mami said to the TT recently (paraphrasing here), non-Muslims are considered as logs for the fire of hell, and their passing from the earth will not be mourned. So, Islamic law is very clear about killing the non-Muslim, or just about anyone else who is deemed to have run afoul of that brutal "legal" system.

Ya'acov "Jake" Teitel was charged with two counts of first-degree murder, three counts of attempted murder, holding and manufacturing weapons and inciting violence, according to an indictment served in the Jerusalem District Court on Thursday morning.
"It was my pleasure and honor to serve my God, God is proud of what I have done, I have no regrets," Teitel declared as he entered the courtroom.
Teitel, 37, a father of four, dubbed 'the Jewish terrorist' is suspected of a series of ideologically-motivated attacks targeting Palestinians, Leftists, homosexuals and Messianic Jews.
The court on Thursday accepted the prosecution's request to extend Teitel's remand until the end of legal proceedings against him.
The American-born Shvut Rahel resident is allegedly behind an unprecedented series of deadly terrorist shootings and bombings spanning 12 years, beginning in 1997.
It's not easy being a professor at NTNU, who believes that a rational discussion of the Arabs' conflict with the Jewish state of Israel is the correct way debate the issue. Especially so when the university's rector, Torbjørn Digernes was one of the principle forces in arranging a highly anti-Israel list of speakers for a seminar dealing with the conflict.

Boycott: Ambassador of Norway is trying to reassure the CRIF
Following on information that a Norwegian university have called for institutional boycott of Israel, Richard Prasquier, president of CRIF has been received on its request, in emergencies, at the Norwegian Embassy in Paris, Tuesday, November 10, 2009 .
Ambassador Tarald Brautaset assured that the Norwegian government had clearly pronounced against any attempt to boycott. On 9 November, the Minister of Research and Higher Education Tora Aasland said before the parliament, that the boycott was contrary to all principles.
The vote at the University of Science and Technology in Trondheim to take place shortly. But the president has officially spoken out against the boycott. According to the Norwegian ambassador, the university should be followed.
Richard Prasquier was accompanied by Sammy Ghozlan, representative of CRIF 93.
Actually, it's not that bad of a situation. The Arabs have yet to reject their claims for all of the real estate that makes up the modern state of Israel, so what is there left to discuss with them, other than how best they can achieve it? Believe the Tundras Tabloids on this issue, there is no rush to solve the Arabs' conflict with Israel, as long as they have designs on destroying Israel. The Palestinian Authority leadership on Wednesday marked the fifth anniversary of Yasser Arafat's death by emphasizing that it won't resume peace talks with Israel until all construction work in the settlements is halted.
PA officials also repeated the canard that Arafat had died after being poisoned by Israel. In the Gaza Strip, Hamas banned memorial ceremonies for Arafat that had been planned by Fatah.
"We can't return to the negotiations [with Israel] without a full cessation of settlement construction, including Jerusalem and natural growth," Abbas said in a speech at the Mukata "presidential" compound, the site of Arafat's tomb.
"We also want an urgent solution to the problem of the refugees. Our demands are not pre-conditions, because all what we are talking about is mentioned in the Road Map. But those who don't want peace are creating obstacles on the road to peace."
NOTE: Area where Rep.Hoekstra needs schooling: Jihadism is not a bastardization of Islam, it has a crucial, central role in the spreading of Islam and the creating of an Islamic state. You think? The interview was not as bad as one would think, academic from Helsinki University, Susanne Dahlgren, did in fact say that it's difficult to communcate with someone who is completely covered like the woman sitting next to her, and that the since the 70's it has become increasingly standardized thoughout the ME. Another strike against the full covering is the fact that it becomes a security risk, and in this day and age of international terrorism, having people floating around in full length bags with their identities concealed, is downright foolish. The hijab, or head scarf, is another article that is difficult to ban in a free society, but private businesses should be free to ban it if it doesn't mesh with its overall image.

It's a well known fact that the Greens party in Finland especially their hard core supporters are socialists, you know, of the watermelon variety, green on the outside and very red on the inside? So it's shouldn't come as any surprise to many when they hear that a faction within the Greens party here in Finland, are so extremely disillusioned with their party that they want to start a competing Greens party to rid Finland of capitalism.

So the Greens are against capitalism, well surprise surprise. Then they have a lot in common with not only Communist socialism, but with National socialism as well. With the latter having as strong of an "eco-political" component to its socialist ideology, as do the modern day Greens party. So the Greens hate capitalism, as did the Fascists, so it is entirely correct to label the Greens as "eco-Fascists. I doubt very seriously that the already mainstream Greens party, has a major love affair with capitalism either, it's tolerated in much the same way the National Socialists, and the Communists tolerated capitalists/ism when they were in dire need of their funding.
The more open these parties become about their true ideologies the better it is for the rest of us liberal, free market supporters, in helping to debunk these scoundrels for what they truly are.

A portion of the Green League is planning to form a new, more radical Green Party. The newspaper Uutispäivä Demari reports that the group is disappointed with the mainstream Greens, and wants to form a new party based on an environmental revolution and the end of capitalism.
The breakaway group is now waiting for the approval of its application to form a new political party. They say they will focus on getting candidates elected in the next municipal elections rather than aiming for Parliamentary seats.
"This really came as a surprise to us," says Panu Laturi, the Party Secretary of the Green League. "At no point was there any clue, so yes, this really is a complete surprise."
Despite the breakaway party's aim of recruiting current Green members, Laturi does not believe the new party will hold much of an appeal.
"At this point they're biggest task is to gain credibility. I'm not sure how easy that is," adds Laturi.
He has seen only a portion of the new party's stated goals, but what he has seen he feels is very radical. The new party's manifesto accuses the Green League of being elitist, driven by commercialism and a worse threat to the environment than other leftist parties.
"That's not true," says Laturi. "That's their interpretation. If you look at what we've done while in government, I wouldn't say that at all."

MILD MUSLIMS ARE THE ANSWER
The Islamic religion in its purest (political) form is totalitarian in nature and therefore anti democratic. We speak about the meaning of the word "moderate" in relation to Islam and find it as something no longer holding any meaning.
The reason for this is simple: many so-called "moderates" have been praised in the west, only later being found to have been supporting jihad against non-Muslims from the very beginning.
"Mild Muslims", are the ones we look to with hope, who truly believe in liberal democracy such that Islam should be a matter of personal faith, not politics.
Those who refuse to condemn sharia (Islamic law) as being incompatible with modern day society, are the Muslims we take issue with. It is these Muslims who present a clear and present danger to the rest of society. KGS
